Compassionate Care Initiative

The Compassionate Care Initiative (CCI), housed in the School of Nursing, provides free drop-in classes and training for students, staff, faculty, clinicians, and community members to help participants learn what it takes to be their best-selves. The CCI believes that building more compassionate communities begins with self-care and self-preservation, which in turn builds resilience. Students and professionals who are resilient are better able to provide compassionate care and cultivate compassionate organizations.
