Contemplative Practices for Higher Education Conference

The Contemplative Sciences Center is a co-sponsor of the 2022 Contemplative Practices for Higher Education Conference being held March 3- March 5 at Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland.

Scholars working in contemplation at UVA and across the United States are encouraged to attend. 

The conference registration cost includes the opening Keynote Address by Arawana Hayashi on Thursday evening, admittance on Friday to attend presentations, panel discussions, roundtable chats, contemplative practice sessions, and the closing Keynote Address by David Loy. Registration also includes a breakfast and lunch voucher for Friday. Additional opportunities include pre-conference workshops and a half-day retreat with facilitator Ramaswami Mahalingam.
