Join a dynamic panel of leaders in a discussion about compassion and kindness at the University of Virginia. Learn about ongoing and future initiatives, classes, and research, as well as participating in a few supportive practices.
Juliet Trail, Director of Education at CSC, will be speaking on the panel leading up to National Random Acts of Kindness week the following week. This event is geared toward faculty and staff though it is open to the public.
We will have representatives from:
• The Compassionate Care Initiative
• The Center for Appreciative Practice
• The Contemplative Sciences Center
• The Faculty and Employee Assistance Program
The panel will take place just before National Random Acts of Kindness week which is February 18 to February 22, to help get you thinking about how you would like to get involved.
Registration is required. To register call 434.243-2643 or email seb2fd@hscmail.mcc.virginia.edu. Please include your name, department, position and phone number.
