Kevin Hart is a Religious Studies professor at UVA. He works primarily between the worlds of philosophy and theology, and also in the field of religion and literature. Recent books by him include an edition of Jean-Luc Marion's The Essential Writings, a monograph, Kingdoms of God, and Wild Track: New and Selected Poems. A new scholarly book, Poetry and Revelation, is forthcoming in 2016 from Bloomsbury. He has completed a new book of poems, Barefoot, and is currently completing Blanchot Encore for Fordham UP. Professor Hart co-edits the book series “Thresholds: Philosophy and Theology” for Notre Dame UP; serves on the Comité Scientifique d’Oeuvres d’Emmanuel Lévinas (Grasset), and sits on the editorial boards of Cahiers Blanchot, Christianity and Literature, Literature and Theology, Expositions, Faith and Philosophy, Journal of Cultural and Religious Theory, and New Literary History.
